A work-in-progress, these are the memoirs of Austin Hines, Jr., tracing his life from the rural Shenandoah Valley to hot-rodding in Arlandria to life in the Navy, Postal Service and taxi cab driver. Words and original family photographs help narrate this American life. Please see Chapter list at right. Special Note: Austin’s mother, Juanita Childs Hines, passed away in early March 2015. She was – and remains – a powerful light in Austin’s life.
